Learning Objectives

At the end of this CME/CE activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the natural progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in an environment of hypertension, diabetes and the metabolic syndrome.
  • Identify current and future clinical trials exploring the link between CKD, hypertension and diabetes.
  • Examine intervention strategies utilizing combination therapy in the hypertension, CKD and diabetes environment.
